Novafast was engaged to build and supply two Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) storage tanks to be supplied to Saudi Aramco, in Saudi Arabia. The process involved:
- Design calculations
- Material selection
- Fabrication
- Examination and inspection
- Testing and certification
- Venting of the tanks
- Surface preparation and a report
Tank dimensions were cylindrical, DN750, 2185mm high, containing a small amount of Sodium Hypochlorite, with atmospheric design pressure and vinyl ester resin system.
